TITLE = Bouguer gravity trends and crustal structure of the Palmyride
Mountain belt and surrounding northern Arabian platform in
Syria
The Bouguer gravity map is a compilation of nineteen different gravity
surveys (acquired between 1949 and 1973) from a Bureau d'Etudes
Industrielles et de Cooperation de l'Institut Francais du Petrole (BEICIP)
project; station densities varied from 1.8 to 5.5 points/km2. Density
values for the sedimentary section are taken from the formation density logs
from 15 wells located in western Syria.
