A large scale onshore/ofshore experiment was carried out in the 
northern Red Sea between April and May 1981.  Offshore 
recording was made with ten ocean botton seismographs (OBS).  
Energy was generated by 160 small explosive charges (20-45 kg) 
and 6 large ones (160 kg).
