A 2D isostatic model which suggests that crust in Anti-Atlas region is thinner than what Airy-type compensation mechanism would require. A better match is obtained in modeling if it is assumed that crust beneath Anti-Atlas is thinner, possible due to thicker (stronger) elastic lithosphere.
