I have been a member of the Morocco
Project , supervised by Muawia
Barazangi for two years.
I am presently studying the seismic velocity and attenuation structure
of the Alboran
region of the western Mediterranean situated between Spain and Morocco
to improve constraints on possible geodynamic models for the area. We
are conducting a collaborative study with the Instituto
Andaluz Geofisica (IAG) in Granada, Spain, the Instituto
Geografico Nacional in Madrid, Spain, and the Centre
National de Coordination et Planification de Reserches Scientifique et
Technique in Rabat, Morocco.
