Ithaca could be very humid and hot in summer time, pack proper clothing for such weather. Ithaca is also kown for its rain showers, an unbrella would help. Bring walking shoes. The campus is quite large and there is a quite a bit distance between the Housing and the meeting rooms. If you like, also bring swimsuits. During the BBQ dinner there is a swimming opportunity at the Park.
The main desk, located in the Statler Ballroom Foyer is open during meeting hours on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. If at any time you have a problem you should contact the main desk. Representatives at the desk can answer a range of questions from addressing your technical and logistical needs to answering questions about the local area.
